At Inpavilion, every design file comes with a specific license that defines how you may use it. This policy explains the difference between our license types, what each permits, and what is not allowed under any license.

I. Overview

When you purchase a digital file from Inpavilion, you are not purchasing ownership of the design –  you are purchasing a license to use it under specific conditions. The license type applicable to each product is clearly stated on the product page.

We offer two license types:

  • Personal Use License
  • Commercial Use License

Always check the product description before purchasing to confirm which license applies. If you are unsure, contact us before completing your order.

II. Personal use license

What it covers

The Personal Use License permits you to use the purchased files for private, non-commercial projects – meaning projects where no money is exchanged and no commercial benefit is gained.

You may:

  • Use the files for personal crafting, hobbies, or home decoration
  • Print designs for your own use (e.g., cards, wall art, scrapbooking)
  • Use the files in school or community projects with no commercial intent

You may not:

  • Sell, distribute, or share physical or digital products made using these files
  • Use the files in any project that generates income, directly or indirectly
  • Upload the files to any marketplace, platform, or file-sharing service
  • Transfer the license to another person or entity

III. Commercial use license

What it covers

The Commercial Use License permits you to use the purchased files to create physical end products for sale, such as printed merchandise, apparel, stickers, home decor, and similar items.

You may:

  • Sell physical products made using the design (e.g., T-shirts, mugs, tote bags, greeting cards, stickers)
  • Use the files for client work or commissioned projects
  • Use the files across multiple projects within your business
  • Print on demand through services such as Printful, Printify, or similar platforms

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or share the original digital files in any format
  • Use the files to create other digital products for resale (e.g., SVG bundles, Canva templates, digital download listings)
  • Upload the files to stock sites, design marketplaces, or file-sharing platforms
  • Claim ownership or authorship of the original design
  • Sub-license or transfer the license to a third party

IV. What is not permitted under any license

Regardless of which license you hold, the following are strictly prohibited:

  • Reselling, sharing, or redistributing the original files in any form
  • Using the files to create AI training datasets
  • Removing, altering, or obscuring any copyright notices embedded in the files
  • Using the files in any way that violates applicable law or infringes the intellectual property rights of others
  • Uploading the files to any platform that grants access to third parties

Violation of these terms may result in immediate license termination and legal action where applicable.

V. License scope & limitations

  • Each license is granted to one individual or business entity only
  • Licenses are non-exclusive — the same design may be sold to other customers
  • Licenses are non-transferable — you may not pass your license to another person or entity
  • A license applies to the specific product purchased and does not extend to other designs in our catalog

VI. Print on demand

If you use our Commercial Use files through a print-on-demand service (e.g., Printful, Redbubble, Merch by Amazon), the following applies:

  • You may upload the design to the platform for the purpose of producing and selling physical products
  • The design must not be made available for download on the platform
  • You remain responsible for ensuring the platform’s usage complies with this Licensing Policy
  • Using our files on platforms that allow buyers to download the design file is not permitted

VII. Attribution

Inpavilion does not require attribution for the use of our files under either license. You are not obligated to credit us when using our designs in your projects or products.

However, you may not falsely claim the original design as your own work or remove any embedded copyright metadata.

VIII. License verification

Inpavilion reserves the right to request proof of purchase if a license dispute arises. Your order confirmation email serves as your license record — we recommend keeping it saved.

IX. Reporting misuse

If you believe our designs are being used without proper licensing – such as being resold as digital files or used without purchase – please report it to us at [email protected].

We take intellectual property seriously and will investigate all reports promptly.

X. Relationship to other policies
